WTN is based in Weston-super-Mare.

We record items of news and information onto memory sticks which we send out to our Visually-Impaired Listeners across North Somerset every week.

People who are visually-impaired and unable to read a newspaper miss out on what is going on locally. This is where we are able to help.

The news items are taken from local North Somerset papers. The Weston & Somerset Mercury covers Weston-super-Mare and the surrounding areas. The North Somerset Times covers the Clevedon, Nailsea, Pill, Portishead and Yatton areas,

WTN currently supply weekly news editions to around 180 visually-impaired listeners,

The Life magazine is printed, every other month, by North Somerset Council and is delivered to around 92,000 households in the North Somerset area.

WTN records the magazine for visually-impaired people across the area and sends it out to those who have requested the service.
